ABOUT US

Guy Derwent Architects are a dynamic, collaborative practice creating beautiful and thought provoking designs. We have a consistent track record of securing Planning and Conservation Area Consent in a range of areas from central London to rural countryside locations.

OUR APPROACH

We listen to the client’s requirements and provide thoughtful and intelligent design responses.  We work closely with a range of experienced consultants to evolve the initial concepts and ensure the final project is both within budget and exceeds expectations.

Each of our projects are considered in relation to the context of the built environment, the landscape, materials, light, views and the history of their surroundings. Sustainability is a core aspect of the practice’s philosophy and is integral to all of our proposals.

Guy Derwent Architects are experienced at each stage of the design and construction process. We are able to provide a full service from initial concept schemes through to completion. We follow the RIBA Plan of Work as a basis for organising the process into stages.

For us, a building is more than just a structure. It is an environment that should bring peace, beauty and functionality through careful planning, design and consideration of form and context to become something special. We work hard at Guy Derwent Architects to give shape to your vision - ensuring that all of the above is incorporated in every project.
